Package Disposal

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be disposed of without prior notice.

First In, First Out

Customers must collect old packages before they can collect new packages.

After-Hours Deliveries

Packages delivered outside of our warehouse operating hours are not the responsibility of Flashship Courier Services Limited / Freight Forwarder.

Packages Left Outside

Packages left outside our warehouse are not the responsibility of Flashship Courier Services Limited.

Misdelivered Packages

Packages misdelivered by the shipper/seller (i.e., not confirmed delivered by our warehouse) are not the responsibility of Flashship Courier Services Limited / Freight Forwarder.

“Delivered” but Not Received

Packages flagged as “Delivered” or “Signed by” but not reflected in our package system or warehouse records as received are considered UNKNOWN / misdelivered, and are not the responsibility of Flashship Courier Services Limited / Freight Forwarder.

Indemnification

We are indemnified against any loss, damage, or misdelivery of packages received during such circumstances.

Unknown / Improperly Addressed Packages

Unknown or improperly addressed packages will incur a fee of JMD $500, due to the additional labor required. Avoid this charge by ensuring all packages are correctly addressed and include your mailbox number.

Package Location Switch Requests

Package Location Switch Requests (transport package from one branch to another) can take up to 5 business days and are subject to a fee of JMD $500.

Frequently Asked Questions

At present, we are mandated by the Tax Administration Department of Jamaica to collect GCT. The 15% GCT will be paid over monthly to TAJ — this is not Flashship revenue.

Flashship Couriers recommends that all packages are checked before leaving our office. Once packages are collected and leave our office, we are not liable for missing or damaged items.

Customs fees are charged on items that value USD$100.00 and more.

No credit card? No problem. We charge only 4% of the total value of your intended purchase, which also includes shipping from your online store to our warehouse in Florida. Please note that payment has to be made to use our card before any purchases are made.
